The Asheville Botanical Garden hosts two plant sales every year, one in the spring and one in the fall. The Garden joins with numerous local plant vendors to offer a wide variety of native trees, shrubs, and flowers.
The Botanical Garden receives no city, state or federal funds. We are funded through memberships, donations, gift shop sales and the spring and fall plant sales. Your membership and native plant purchases go directly towards the care of the Garden and our programs promoting native plants.
ABG Members receive a 10% discount on ABG-grown plants, sign up here to become a member, or you may also purchase a membership at the sale and enjoy the special member pricing.
Free admission and parking on site or nearby.

New: Seed and Plant Exchange – ABG Members only
Asheville Botanical Garden will not be selling our own plants this year. Instead, we’re launching a Members-only Seed & Plant Exchange. This is a fun way to share your garden’s abundance, see what your neighbors are growing, and discover unique plants and seeds with your fellow members.
Asheville Botanical Gardens will be offering plants and seeds from our collection and we encourage you to bring natives, herbs, vegetables or other non-invasive garden plants and seeds for exchange. Membership is the only requirement for participation, so please participate even if you don’t have plants to share – it’s a calorie-free potluck! Know someone who is not a member yet? Encourage them to join today or at the sale and be a part of the exchange!
