The Garden’s Mission: To promote and showcase the value and diversity of plants native to the Southern Appalachian region by serving as an educational resource and urban destination for nature study and enjoyment.
We believe everyone deserves a beautiful place and are dedicated to providing free entry for all to the Asheville Botanical Garden. Our aim is to create botanically rich native plant habitats using ecologically sound gardening techniques and to share this with people in hopes of bringing understanding, well being and enjoyment to those who visit the garden.
The Asheville Botanical Garden is a member & donor supported 501c3 non-profit organization. The Garden operating budget does not receive university, city, state or federal funding. We are funded people like you and appreciate your support which helps us to maintain this beautiful garden for everyone to enjoy.
