The grounds of the ABG are open daily all year round from sunrise to sunset for the enjoyment of the community. We do not charge for admission or parking but do encourage donations to help with maintenance. We hope that our Garden will inspire our visitors to turn away from non-native plants in landscaping. It’s one of the easiest things you can do personally for the health of our environment. To learn more, we encourage you to get a copy of Doug Tallamy’s book, “Bringing Nature Home: How You Can Sustain Wildlife with Native Plants,” which we sell in our Visitor Center.

Accessibility
Please Note: We are striving to improve accessibility in the Garden, however at this time not all of the trails are accessible. There is handicapped parking and a wheelchair ramp for access to the Visitor Center. The Visitor Center, a small paved area by the Visitor Center and our a bird viewing deck are wheelchair accessible. Beyond that our trails are hard packed gravel and mostly level with some small hills to navigate. Some people are comfortable navigating most of our trails by wheelchair, however the trails are not easily accessible to all.
We have an EXTREMELY FRAGILE plant collection, and for that reason, we have very specific rules for visitors. Please help us keep our plants healthy and thriving, and read the Garden Rules prior to visiting us.
