Asheville Botanical Garden is supported by membership and donations. The Garden does not receive government or university funding. Your support is critical and allows us to:

  • Maintain the gardens and facilities including pathways, bridges, and the Visitor Center.
  • Offer free entry for residents and visitors to the Asheville area.
  • Increase awareness of this region’s unique botanical diversity. This is one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world!
  • Support ongoing educational programs about the flora and fauna of this region.
  • Maintain resources for academic research as well as community knowledge of botany, horticulture, ecology and ornithology.
  • Keep the garden open every day all year round from sunrise to sunset.
